Hi all,
Hoping for some help with my MacBook (2008).
When I switch on my laptop i see the apple logo, wheel and a progress strip. I understand that it's trying to run fsck. However, the progress bar gets 1/4 of the way and then restarts again. After the second attempt the laptop powers off.
I've entered 'single user mode' and run fsck and end up with the following results in the attached JEPG.
The results state;
Disk Full Error
The volume Macintosh HD could not be repaired
/dev/rdisk0s2 (hfs) Exited with signal 8
I'm assuming it's somthing to do with my disk being full? ;-)
Is there anyway I can skip fsck so that I can free up space, or is there another solution to this issue?
Thanks all,
gjonm
