During install I encountered multiple errors. First I saw a pop up regarding an "Apple mobile device" file or something and it gave the options "abort, retry or ignore". This happened about 3 times.

At the end of the install I got the following errors:

The application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll could not be found.

Error 7 (windows error 126)

What should I do?

Since ur dealing with DLL this is a Microsoft Windows issue then, Si?

Attempt to first uninstall the old version first.

If this doesn't work, attempt to restore to a prior checkpoint with the old iTunes, THEN uninstall.

General Diagnosis: Corrupt Registry.

I have already uninstalled and tried installing fresh, that's when I experienced most of these. What can I do at this point?
