I just got an airport express & it works fine with my iMac but won't connect with any wifi devices. My devices sees & accepts the wireless network I created using the airport express on my iMac but drops the connection after a second if it ever connects which is rare .i connected the AE though my modem. I had an non apple router before but I unplugged it.i tried all resets & everything I could think of & still nothing!
my iMac keeps saying another device using my IP address so to either change it or change the ip on that device. What device it's talking about?nothing else is hooked up with my iMac. Is it possible it's talking about my old router & even though I unplugged it the configuration's still there?
