Hi guys

Anyone that has purchased a retina mini iPad have you noticed your home button is unresponsive at points

Seems like when I know I've pressed it and heard the click nothing happens and I have to press the home button again

I've tried calibrating the home button (within the notes app) with the power button held down till the slide bar appears then letting go and pressing the home button till the app closed.

Now I do!

I've had no problems with the home button either. 1st click every time.
THINGS HAVE CHANGED:(
I now have the same problem as the op. The home button now takes 2 to 3 tries to respond. I guess I'll be heading to the Apple store soon to see what they say.

I actually like these home/sleep button issues.

When I got my iPhone 5 it was great for 11 months, then the sleep button started acting weird. Got on the horn with Apple and they sent a new one. Sold the brand new one and bought a 5s.

I hope my rMini's home button flakes out in 10 months....

New rMini is being sent out for a swap :)

It's happening loads now, 4 times I had to press the home button and on the fifth the screen activated and returned to the home screen

For £559 I want it dam well working at least :)

I've had both an ipad 4 and a ipad air get a loose unresponsive home button.

Just take it back and they'll swap it for you...
