iOS How do I add a key/value pair to an AVQueuePlayer object?

As the title suggests, I want to add a key to an AVQueuePlayer object. I noticed that the object has a private method called "setValue:forUndefinedKey," and that I can customize its behavior. I think I just need to know how to make that method add the given key and value to the object.
