Does anyone know when Apple first introduced the "popping bubble" sound effect? I notice it's tremendously widely copied (e.g., samsung) these days. But I remember it being around since way back in the early 90s. Was it actually an original Mac sound? Anyone know how much it's been updated?

Samsung? I remember Samsung making a very different popping bubble sound when you touch something on their Galaxy phones...
