Hey all!

Recently had an Early-2009 24" iMac screen go super blurry with multi-sized vertical lines. (Model number W89128EN0TG). I'm looking into replacing the LCD screen, but I'm uncertain how to identify the model number of the screen to purchase the correct one. I know there are a few different ones:

(SL)(A1)
(SL)(B1)
(SL)(B2)

etc. I've read that the B1, B2, and so forth are interchangeable, but if my computer is the B series then any in the A series won't work. Is this true? And my real question: is there a way to identify what model my screen is, without opening the computer up?

Thanks everyone!
Andrew
