Hello guys,
Just upgrade my iMac 27"Late 2013 with 4 X KTA-MB1600L/8G,
Yes, kernel panic every day.

Just check with Kingston and its disty,
1. If your KTA-MB1600L is with Micron chip, it is ok
2. If your KTA-MB1600L is with Kingston chip, it's fail

Solution: No solution in this stage, Kingston would provide you 100% refund.

FYR.

I've seen other reports of this on the Apple forums as well. :(

Possible solution:

You could take the refund on the Kingston and buy the Crucial CT2C8G3S160BM at Amazon.com (currently $139) which I can assure you both works and is 100% Micron. ;)
