I have a Newertech Guardian Maximus RAID 1 setup and when I connect the unit to the Caldigit Thunderbolt drive I cannot copy any data to the drive. I can look at folders and files on the drive. I can also copy files from the drive to my desktop. But it stalls when copying data to the drive. I can copy files back and forth to harddrive using Firewire 800.
I have a single drive in OWC Mercury Elite Pro and the Caldigit works with it.
What is the issue with Caldigit?
