It looks like a photo of the 12 Apostles in Victoria, Australia. Not what you're after, I know, but might get you closer.

Found it but it's only 1024x1024. No retina yet. Or parallax

good find! that picture was taken by a guy named Andrew Smith. made a 2048x2048 from that 1024x1024 so it's not high quality...

Thanks man. Not sure how Apple got this unless they just stole it for that low res image. But looks like we wont see a high res parallax version thats native.
