New Mac mini or 2009 iMac

Just looking to get back into macs last one i had was a mac mini just as the intel ones came out.

SO been looking at the mac mini i5 or a 2nd hand core2duo 2.8 /3.0

Is there much in these from a spec point of view?

All i am planning to do is general usage / graphics work as in logos vector work / no video encoding ?

Would the imac last as long as the mac mini?

I'd get the mac mini because spec wise it's going to be better. Get a nice screen, keyboard, mouse, and you're good to go. Plus it'd be easier to upgrade the HDD to and SSD compared to the iMac where you need to remove the screen.

THanks for the feedback I just bought a new Mac Mini 2.5ghz, thinking about a AOC i2769Vm 27" if anyone knows of this monitor?
