You may be 3D-printing it, but it's still a cargo cult.

Well that's a bit rich coming from the hack-and-build-it-yourself community. It's hardly rocket science to draw a shape like this.

Here's one I made, which you can download (choice of 4.7" or 5.5" screen): http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:325163

Feel free to print it out... then you get your own!

At least this isn't as bad as people buying card board drawings and models of wii u pads and ps4s on ebay.

Guess this "article" was an excuse for MR to let everyone know they have a 3D printer...

You'd need to be a mug to pay $25 for the 3D print file - most people with a 3D printer can easily knock up an STL file for free!

As demonstrated by the post above....

Checks calendar: Nop! not April 1st!

Seriously! people are homeless in our own cities. Take that $25 and give it to an organization that will do something useful with it.

If you go to Shapeways and search for iPhone 6, the same designer is already offering the finished model.
It's around $35 depending upon material selected.
I'm surprised that info isn't part of the story.

how to pick the best iphone 6 size for you

i made a quick video on how to pick the best iphone 6 size for you, i also recommend you add some cardboard behind it, to give you a idea on how it fits in your pocket.
