So I was thinking about playing a Star Wars game, but can't decide between Star Wars Galaxies and Star Wars The Old Republic.
I played SWOTOR when it came out for a couple of months and although I really liked the story approach, high production value and good natured community, I decided to quit and wait for future content.
One year later, I kind of have mixed feelings about it. The F2P model gives me a headache. The Starfighter mini-game feels like a cheap gimmick. The player base seems too low. Is SWOTOR really dying, or does it just seem like it is?
Then there is the Star Wars Galaxies emulated server, which seems like a faithful reincarnation of game I always wanted to try out. I hear it's total freedom, but hours of repetitive grinding.
