When I read "Syncing Improvements", I got hopeful that this would fix the "waiting for changes to be applied" big. Guess not.

Macbook pro 13" late 2013 and 4k support

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a Dell UltraSharp UP2414Q 24" 4k screen and wondered what resolutions, refresh rates, dpi/hidpi settings will be available to my 13" late 2013 macbook pro. Without 4k hidpi at 60hz I probably wont go for the new screen. Details of any experience or knowledge would be much appreciated.
Thanks

560MB for the 10.9.3/11.2 combined on both my Mid 2011 Mini and my Mid 2010 MacBook.

But... when was iTunes 11.2 released?!?

EDIT: That's 10.9.2>10.9.3 plus iTunes 11.2; not the 10.9.3 Combo update. Obviously.

hey bud your wifi problem worries me.. wifi implants have yet to pass FCC approval and may not be suitable for all, This is most likely the cause of your problem and I doubt that this software update will help you out. You should probably have this surgically removed before you keep hurting yourself.

OS X Update 10.9.3 only officially support 15-inch Macbook Pro Retina Display (Late 2013) for 4K display support.

For my setup with UP2414Q, here are the 5 resolutions that supports:

1504 x 846
1900 x 1080
2304 x 1296
2560 x 1440
3008 x 1682

Nope. Still stuck at 30hz. I wasn't really expecting HDMI 2.0 support with 10.9.3 update, but this is kinda disappointing. And no non-2x HiDPi mode for UHD TV I am using.

I assume the 1920 x 1080 is the 'native' pixel doubled resolution. That display at the recommended resolution must look gorgeous.

Malfunctioning wifi is better than no wifi so I think I'll keep it.

Thanks betaelmer!

I notice the Apple Macbook pro specs page the 13" does support 4k resolutions but only at 30hz. I'm guessing this update doesn't ttherefore provide 60hz for the 13".

Cheers

HDMI 1.4 and 2.0 are identical in hardware spec. Itīs only a matter of updating the code to enable 2.0 on nMP & rMBP. Why not do so with 10.9.3 which focuses on improved 4k support? Anyway, if someone can check let us know. A lot of people are curious.
