Start up of nMP using wireless keyboard

I just got my nMP and connected it to my NEC monitor using miniDisplayPort cable. When I power it on, the chime sounds and I briefly see the Apple boot symbol. Then the screen alternates between two images one of which I recognize as the Magic Trackpad. Now, I have the Magic Trackpad and wireless keyboard here. How do I get past this and get started? Please don't tell me I need a wired keyboard and mouse for the initial setup.

Update: I unpaired the Magic Trackpad and wireless keyboard from my MacBook Pro and re-started the Mac Pro. All's well now.
