Has anyone tried to make Xcode (or, at least, its xcodebuild) 4.4.1 under OS X 10.9.4+ work?
I need armv6 compatibility in all my AppStore apps (for the business reasons outlined HERE) but would like to upgrade to OS X 10.9.4 from Mountain Lion so that I can also code in Xcode 6 for iOS8.
Needless to say, neither v.4.4.1 (the last one to support armv6 compilation) Xcode nor its command-line xcodebuild support OS X 10.9.4. They both crash immediately. Of course both work just fine under ML.
Has anyone managed to make this "old" Xcode work under Mavericks?
Now I have two MBP's, a 13" one with 10.9.4, a 17" other with 10.8. My workhorse is the latter and it takes a lot of time to constantly switch between the two. I'd really like to avoid doing this. Not even multibooting from an external SSD sounds cool...
