SD card suggestions

I want to pick up a few more extra SD cards for my Nikon D7100. I started looking around and i'm so confused on the speeds of the cards. I shoot RAW and I plan on shooting more video (hence more cards, nothing fancy, just short clips) I've managed just fine whatever card i have (some transcend) that came free with the camera. Now I don't want to over pay for something I don't need. I'm not shooting with a Nikon D4s or a Canon 1DX shooting sports at 12 FPS. Maybe a few burst here and there. But nothing crazy.
Thoughts?

I use Sandisk as well with the same camera. 32MB gives me enough shots for most of my shoots.

Nikon worked with SanDisk for the D7000 to get the fastest speed cards...Class 10 UHS-1.

Not sure about the D7100 but I have been very happy with Sandisk.

I shoot for Class 10 and 45Mbps or higher cards.

RAW files are large and Video can be hefty too. I tried a Transcend or Kingston card I got cheap off Amazon... it struggles.

If you plan on doing any burst shooting with 14 bit lossless RAW images, I suggest you go with a Class 10 card (any name brand on sale) as the D7100 has a small 6 shot buffer.

As long as the SD card has the "Class 10" logo on it you will be fine. That allows writing to the card at full video speed. All of the first tier name brands are OK. The main thing is the class 10 speed rating.

I use nothing but Sandisk Extreme Pro 95MB/s on my Fuji cameras. Just remember, the numbers you read from other brands are only READ speeds. Sandisk however, READ and WRITE, is what it says on the label.

Also SanDisk is very well known for its good flash storage

I second this. All my CF and SD cards for my D800 are SanDisk Ultra's, and I've never had any issues with them.

Of course, I shoot cityscape/landscape, so speed really isn't of the utmost importance to me.

The wife and I use only Lexar CF (in the past) and SDXC cards. I would stick with Lexar or SanDisk.

I have a mix of Sony and Sandisk. I don't actually notice any difference whatsoever.

Amazon has HUGE deal on Sandisk cards for today's Deal of the Day. Get it while it last.

Double dittos to Razeus' recommendation on the Sandisk Extreme Pro with 95MB/s write speed. If you're shooting at 6fps, this card will help clear the buffer faster.

I might have to break my rule and pick up a 32GB and 64GB at the 45mb/s. Deal seems too good to pass up.
