Hi guys,

I've recently had a VPN connection to access my shared drive at work set up on my Macbook Air.

I've never done this before, so it may sound silly, but where will I find the folder to gain access?

I've pressed connect on the VPN connection and it doesn't appear in Finder.

Can anyone advise?

Thanks

VPN enables you to communicate with a remote network, but it doesn't automatically mount a remote share. In Finder, click Go menu > connect to Server and put in the server details to see the folders there.

So if I'm to follow these steps, the folders should then appear in Finder?

Thanks

I'm also trying to access some Microsoft files on the shared drive and being told I can only open them as 'Read only' files.

Please note they are not open anywhere else.

Can anyone help?
