With inexpensive 4K monitors, why no HDMI 2.0 DP 1.3 ?

I'm wanting to buy a 4K (well, actually, UHD 3840 x 2160, or, if they made it, WQUXGA 3840 x 2400) display now that somewhat reasonably priced displays are now available. ( e.g. < $700) The one thing that is holding me back is that none of the displays I have looked at support the new HDMI 2.0 spec, and, the new DisplayPort 1.3 spec. These are the specs that support full 60 Hz refresh at 3840 x 2160 with no kludges.

I have played around with 30 Hz, since that is supported with the existing HDMI and DP specs, but, although that might be OK for digital photography, I really can't stand the poor mouse tracking, and, you need 60 Hz for video anyway.

It just seems strange to me that reasonably priced monitors are now available (e.g. ASUS PB287Q) that can physically do 3840x2160p60, but, the input ports are limited; HDMI 2.0 is not available on those monitors, and, UHD is supported by DisplayPort 1.2 using the MST 2-display "trick". (I think I saw one expensive UHD TV that supports HDMI 2.0 input.)

Why are people dragging their feet on HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.3?

None. But, all the information I looked at implied that current monitors only supported UHD via MST. And, HDMI 2.0 is already out. In the past, it was said that there were not, and, in fact, couldn't be, affordable 4K monitors yet. Now I'm seeing affordable 4K monitors, so, I want to use one. It still seems like people are dragging their feet, in spite of the obvious demand for 4K.

2. DP 1.2 supports 4k @ 60hz without using MST.

My mistake! Thanks for pointing this out -- it looks like this will be my next monitor. Too bad 4K @ 60Hz is DP only, and, it only has one DP port; I would like a second port for a video input.
