I have been noticing lately on my EXTERNAL HP 2210m monitor (connected to my MacBook Air via official Apple VGA adapter) a ghosting effect. I tried to take a picture to show what this looks like:

I think over time it has been getting progressively worse. This does not happen on the built-in display. Could this simply be an incorrect setting?
