Here's some handy codes for quick access to certain areas of the iPhone.

Accessible from the Phone app you can do the following :-

*#06# - Displays IMEI number (equivalent to going to Settings, General, About)
*#21# - Displays call info, forwarding, voice/data
*#62# - same as above, but if service not available.
##002# - Disables call forwading
*#30# - Allows/Block the number calling you
*#31# - Allows you to hide your number
*#33# - List multiple configurations (Call, SMS, data etc) and show weather they are enabled or not
*#61# - Show missed call
*#43# - Verify Call waiting status and other info
*3001#12345#* - Displays inner phone settings

I thought these codes died out on the old back/white Nokia days. but they are still used today....

Times haven't changed that much :)

Just curious. Do the particular codes I quote from you above apply to Sprint?

Or are they only specific to your carrier? If so, you should probably note that.

*#30# - Allows/Block the number calling you
This code in particular is very curious considering that it's not until iOS 7 that Apple has allowed call blocking and only in limited form. So, this to me indicates that it's specific to your particular carrier.

Not everyone is on your carrier.

I dunno, I'm not with Sprint. I'm with Vodafone

I haven't tested these with other carriers, but try and see, some may work, some may not...

This is just for reference/information purposes.
