I was wondering if anyone could advise me on installing windows 8.1 on bootcamp. I have tried to install from the windows installation disc on my retina macbook pro both from an external dvd drive and from a usb drive. Both go through the setup menu until it says windows can't be installed to bootcamp drive as there are no drivers for that partition. I also downloaded all the apple support software at the beginning of the procedure to another usb drive that is plugged into the other usb port on my macbook.
I'm probably doing something stupid but if anyone could advise me I would be very grateful.
Thanks.
EDIT
Its ok thanks. I wasn't formatting again so sorted now. Doh..

I had a bit of a weird issue installing on my MacBook Pro, try:

1. Selecting the target partition and clicking 'Format'

or

2. Selecting the target partition and clicking 'delete' then (when done) 'new'.

From memory that solved my issue. If you're still having problems, please post back with the exact error message you're seeing.

EDIT - Whoops, just realised you got it sorted.
