Hi,

Long time reader, first post.

Went through the Settings -> General -> Software Update method to find 7.1.2 and it has frozen upon installation approx 33% of the way through. It has remained in this state overnight.

My phone is not jailbroken or anything like that and I have tried hard resetting it but nothing is happening. When connected to iTunes, all iTunes says is, "To allow access please respond on your phone" which I obviously can't do.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

Thanks in advance

Try holding sleep and home until the phone resets. Try again.

After doing this (it may take a relatively long time to finish the hard reset - don't panic), check your phone Settings for the iOS version. You may find that it's updated after all. *common problem with this upgrade*
