That looks like the iTunes mini player, and if I recall correctly you can play FLAC in iTunes.
Actually I believe you have to convert it to an Apple lossless format.

ok, thanks, I did not recognize it because I have never really used the mini player, am looking for something that can play flac. files
Thanks, but I think you might've spoken too soon, for I'm now infatuated with They Might Be Giants' original demo for Hearing Aid.
iTunes 11.2.2(3) viewed as the mini player (Obsidian Bar by maxrudberg on top). It couldn't load FLAC files successfully(?).
Music from the Korean dramas Heirs, Big, and Coffee Prince Shop.
There is an old appearance of them playing Birdhouse on Jay Leno and it is one of the best things I've ever seen. If your a fan it's a must see
