Trying everything... still not working
I am seeing this issue intermittently. I anyone has suggestions let me know.
Currently my best guess that my issue are related to having Chapters.
It works if...
- I get rid of chapters and thus the "Select Scene" menu screens. But who wants a DVD with just a single movie)
What doesn't work for me
- Encode in Background (UNCHECKED).
- Delete Encoded Assets
- no other applications (not even iMovie) running while burning
- restarting computer
- in iMovie or iDVD deleting the old project and creating a new one from scratch
- using iMovie to import to iDVD to create the project
- using MagicDVD option in iDVD to create the project
- disconnecting all other usb/firewire hardware
- disabling the screen saver
- updating iDVD
- using simple chapter names like 1, 2, 3
- changing the encoding settings (Professional Quality, High Quality, Best Performance)
so what is there left to do...
- I might try running in safe mode
- I might try re-installing iDVD/iLife
