After a visit to a authorized Apple reseller my late 2013 MacBook Pro w/retina does not boot to my logon screen. When in Disk Utility in Recovery Mode the name of the drive has changed from Macintosh HD to disk0s2. The available, used, and number of files shown are the same a - appears to the right of these fields. When I click on Repair Disk it says:
Invalid B-tree node size
The volume found not be verified completely.
Volume repair complete
updated boot support partitions for the volume as required
Error: disk utility can't repair this disk...disk, and restore your backed-up files.

Yes, there was/is information on the drive I wasn't backed up and is needed.

Disk Warrior could not repair (I have DW on an external disk which I hooked up to another Mac via Transport mode using a Thunderbolt cable) the drive either.

Any suggestions on how I can get any information back is appreciated.

Thank you for looking.

It does sound like you have a bad drive, and if Disk Warrior did not help your next option is going to be sending the drive to a company that specializes in data recovery. It will not be cheap though.

Thank you Weaselboy! I will have the drive replaced since it is still under warranty.
