Hi

I just purchased a Mac G5 at a garage sale and need to restore to factory settings. The original owners only had disk 1, if I could could disk 2 that would be great, but will take both if it's the only option.

Thank you!

AFAIK, 10.4 came on either one DVD or 4 CDs(and I'd expect a G5 to have a DVD).

Have you tried what you have to see if it will work?

From what I can see, disk 2 seems to be just MacOS 9.2.2. You can find that all over the web with a little googling.

Alternatively, since it will only install on the PMG5 in Classic Mode under Tiger you can extract the System Folder from a free Apple download 'Netboot for Mac OS 9'

Instructions for extraction and installation can be found here
