Guess I'll go right to the big guy:

The Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon

Timelapse Video of the Build:

YouTube: video

P.S. I've posted some of this before but that was a few years ago when it was new.

Super Star Destroyer that I did last year. 51" bow to stern. Sorry the pictures are fuzzy. Also in the background of the 1st picture is an Imperial Shuttle Tydirium.

Both of those are really cool! Good job.

How much if you don't mind me asking?

Also on a side note, do you live alone?
List prices; at the time they were still in production and readily available.

Nope, married 25 years, thank you very much.

I'm not a huge Lego buff, but I was actually watching this roughly 45-minute documentary on Sunday about how legos are made / their history. I came across it after watching the IKEA episode on the same channel (because I am obsessed with IKEA). Anyway, here is the link -- enjoy!

A few recent builds.

Took apart the Mountain Hut and made one of the alternate models.

Two Star Wars ships. I have a few mini figures too. I'd like to get the R2D2 model sometime. :)

I went to buy my nephew some legos for his bday next week. OMG they are all $150 + bucks a set !! Do kids sell drugs on the street to buy these things? Every Star Wars one was insanely priced. I ended up buying him a batman with the flash set that had the batmobile and a Riddler car. I also got him a Spiderman one because those are is favorite. He loves the Ninja Turtles but only way to get all 4 of them was dropping over 100 bucks on 2 play sets.

Why are toys so expensive now? A batman was 12 bucks and about 3 inchs of crappy plastic. You want one that looks remotely like batman or spiderman it is 25 bucks !!! I don't remember them being that pricey when I was little.

I blame all the non-kids buying legos for themselves. lol

I enjy watching some of these pictures, lego brings back memories.

This is my first big set, and modular, since I got back in to Legos. It has been really cool to see some new parts and pieces as well as some new techniques that have been developed in my absence. Enough of my "talking", here are some pictures.

Thank you!

He will start out with Duplo. I only mention him as an excuse to buy Legos again at thirty years old. ;)

I'm glad your kids are ok. :)

Thanks for the tips.

I really want the Ecto-1. Aside from Legos I was really into Ghostbusters as a kid.

You can support the next GB set here:

How much does that GhostBusters lego headquarters cost?? I want that and the Ecto-1(A) car.

The headquarters is still in review with Lego.

The Ecto-1 is $49.99 on shop.lego.com

If The HQ gets approved, I bet it'll be somewhere in between $300-400. It took the creator over 3000 pieces to build.

----------

For your son..... Riiiiiiiight. You secret is safe with us and the entire internet! :D

I heard he doesn't even have any kids :D

Ha! The kid is funny. I started to but some of the batmobile together, and he didn't want any help so he took apart what I did so he can do it himself.

I get to put the sets back together when he decides he's done playing with them and tears them apart.

Yea, that may keep me from getting it. I would rather spend that much on two modulars. Of course, if it is released I may be swayed haha.
