I love my Mazda MX-5. It’s a 2009 model that I will baby and drive until one of us passes.

Sharing your MX5 love man, I drive one myself for two years now and it's a great little fun car.
I'm driving open all year long, consider my soft top as an umbrella for rainy days only :cool:

----------

First test run this morning, after replacing the radiator and doing a bypass on some electrical wiring that started to fail. Well, after 22 years of age - what can you expect?

What is that thing? Looks nice.

Thanks for the nice comment - this is a 1992 Marcos Mantula GT.
Custom built and hand assembled, and an ever lasting joy to drive :)

----------

I believe that’s a Marcos Martina.

Yep, almost. The Martina was a DIY kit that Marcos sold for a short period, late eighties I'd say..
I saw one once, assembled by Jeremy Welsh - an Austin Healy dealer back in the days.
There are numereous differences between a Mantula and a Martina, but mostly in the details, the refinement and not in the least the interior.

Nice numbers! What mods do you have into it to get the output so high?

I assume you mean mine, :)

I've got it remapped, it's a 3litre R6-engine. Turbodiesel. (197hp/400nm) original, and remapped to stage2 is 300hp/620nm. It's freakin moving ^^

Very cool, thanks for the clarification. I knew of Marcos, but wasn’t 100% sure on the model/differentiations. I’ve seen them at car shows and recognized the design, and just did a quick search to match the model to your photo (incorrectly apparently :D )

You’ve got to love the torque on a [turbo] diesel :D

After the remap, yes, very much so. The torque is crazy.

Been a long time since I've posted. I can't remember which car I had the last time I posted. I had an '02 Elantra GT for almost 6 years, then traded for a 2012 Cruze. Didn't like the payments, so I wound up with this:

2006 Honda Accord LX Sedan

83k on it. Just your average Accord. Completely stock. I like it, but I wanna get something smaller, as I'm single and really don't need all the space and I want something more economical. This one averages about 23-29 MPG. I got used to the economy of my previous cars, so I'm more used to 30-35 MPG.

Here she is:

That's a very nice Accord. You'll love it. I can rarely break 30 mpg on mine.

It's been in the family since 2010, but I got it from my parents last year. I'm trying to sell it right now, but I do like it a lot. Just want something smaller.

I don't think I've ever gotten a full 30 MPG, though. lol
