Not MBPs, since Broadwell won't see the light of day until 2015.

They wouldn't have rolled out an incremental upgrade to the MBP's this week if there were any chance of a more significant update a scant 2 months later. Much more likely "macs" refers to any or all of mac minis, iMacs, or mac pro.

Hi guys

The article says in the October event we will see "new Macs" - do you guys think there is a chance for refreshed (broadwell) MacBooks by then? Or did macrumors mean a new iMac? I'm in the market for my very first macbook but I can wait a few months if there's a more substantial update than what we got this week.

We won't see Broadwell Retina MacBook Pros until well into 2015. What we *might* see in the fall is a 12-inch MacBook or a 4K iMac/Display. No guarantee on either of those though, just a few rumors.
