A folder in my Library/containers is taking up nearly 9GB of storage. Is this normal? I don't even know what it is tbh hoping somebody here could clear this up

Do you maybe have a lot of ebooks or ibooks?
They all get saved to that location and can take up a lot of space.

yeahhh that might be it because my ibook library is the same amount of storage. Its taking up data in 2 diff places though, can i just delete this folder?

No. That's where iBooks stores your electronic books. Perhaps you could delete the other copy.
