The event will take place at 10:00 AM Pacific Time at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of De Anza College in Cupertino.

Will the September Keynote be live-streamed?

Probably. But annoyingly just to supported Apple software. I wish they'd just stream to YouTube or Twitch.

I Apple will live-stream the event to anyone who owns a Mac or to an Apple TV unit. It's probably the most important product reveal for Apple since the iPad in 2010.

It will depend in part on whether or not the location of the event can handle live streaming. As others have said, WWDC seems to always be streamed live - especially over the past several years. And on occasion, the iPhone event has been streamed, too. But not always, as some locations don’t have the capacity to support it.

They don't stream to the millions of viewers from the location of the event. They send one video stream to their CDN network, which handles the viewers. In theory, they could stream it from an LTE connection.. That has enough bandwith for that.

And the reason why WWDC is live streamed is because it's a developers conference, and thousands have tried to get tickets, but were not picked out. And there are so many developers around the world. It's a fine solution with the livestream for those who could not attend.
