Flash drives not showing in finder.

I'm an amateur photographer with lots of my pictures stored on flash drives. I upload the pics onto various photo sharing sites. Recently my flash drives don't show up in the finder. They are on the screen, but not in the finder. What happened? Can this be fixed? Is there another way to upload from my flash drives?

In the finder preferences everything is checked to show in the finder.

If they show on the Desktop but not Finder, it sounds like you have the Devices section of Finder set to hide. Open Finder and click show and I bet you see them.
