I think it is a beautiful lamp with a perfect light. I have one myself and I wouldnt trade it for anything. The only downside... it is a bit expensive, but worth its price.

Ah, now that is one of the most beautiful desk lamps ever made……..wonderful, what an absolute design classic, and how elegant and timeless, both.

In any case, I have long had my eye on one, (and yes, have been pondering those lamps by Louis Poulsen for an age); if you are still in the habit of posting, I would be curious to know how it is bearing up the best part of eight years later…...

Suggestions? Criteria: Looks Cool, Not too expensive, and different brightness levels would be nice. I use to have like a snake lamp but the bulb burned out like every month.

And what about those "natural" lighting lights? Are they better for your eyes and such?

Been almost 8 years now. Samichi what did you end up with?
