Carrier AT&T business premier account pre-order (iPhone 6 Plus) only!

What's with the email to input order and activation number on att site upon receiving the device? Is that necessary?

Wish I had preordered my folks' phones through apple as I got one order in for me but I'm confident it'll arrive the 19tb still. Seems like availability of 6 is still fine on apples site whereas 6+ is 3-4 weeks. The apple app wasn't really working last night.

Ok- So I ordered an Iphone 6+ 64 on ATT between 3:07 and 3:13am. I am pissed because:

Your Apple iPhone 6 Plus (64GB Gold) has been reserved and will ship within 35 - 42 business days. Your iPhone has been reserved.


Now i have an email saying Expected Ship Date: 10/31/2014 To 11/11/2014

Is this just boilerplate or do i have to wait nine weeks?
 
What is the earliest shipping date for the 6+ that people have seen in the threads from Att premier....mine still shows 10/13-10/22............Is that the earliest batch?

I was able to complete my order within ~5 minutes of midnight... gray, 128 gb, 6+... mine shows 10/13-10/22, too.
 
I ordered my phone 64gb space grey 6+ at 2:46am est and my shipping is 14-21 business days. My roommates gf ordered hers the same time, but gold, will arrive the 19th.... Smh
 
I ordered at 12:05am, got the email stating delivery date of 9-19 but my order status still says pending confirmation... Wth is going on?

I ordered mine 9/12/2014 around 3:20AM, iPhone 6+ 128gb Space Gray..

Says shipping within 14-21 business days. :(

I'm hoping that once it goes out of "Preorder Processing Expected Ship Date: Pending Confirmation" it will update with the 19th... but I won't hold my breath.
 
On another AT&T thread, someone stated: They claim they slid the dates back to manage expectations, but that they expect the phones to ship sooner than what they are telling people.

I'm hoping this holds true but who knows with AT&T.

If I call AT&T to see what the hell happened will I lose my spot when they fix it as orders are processed first come first basis? Will every order from 3am until the problem is fixed be processed before mine?

I also see everyone has an email with an estimated delivery time... I didn't get one, the little info I can see on the premier order status says "Pending

Mine is the same. From what I understand you get lumped into business accounts if you have a FAN discount. I'm not worried about it.

The "pending confirmation" may be from your credit card company. Mine said the same thing I got a call from Capitol One this morning to confirm the (attempted) charges by AT&T. Now it's on my CC and I have an approximate shipping date. If your phone rings and you see an 800# pick it up. :)

ETA: And geez, people, stop being "pissed" about approximate wait times. The times are likely to move up a bit, don't freak out. They probably got millions of orders this morning, give them a little time to sort things out. And ultimately if you don't like it go buy elsewhere if you think you can. There is a LOT of demand and the 6+ is apparently in limited quantities for whatever reason. Chill.

I'm still trying figure out why my personal order went through premier, last night it say 14-21 days today it says Preorder Processing
Expected Ship Date: 10/31/2014 To 11/11/2014 Are they kidding me? Will this change or this it? I should've done Apple's in store p/u option this year... This is almost laughable, I'll never pre-order again! If I didn't get one by waiting online on the 19th I sure would have one before 10/31 - 11/11!

Mine said the same thing last night but now it was updated to Pending
Expected Ship Date: 10/31/2014 To 11/11/2014and I ordered only 12 mintues after start time. Unbelievable...:eek:
 
I'm pretty disappointed.

I ordered at 1:58 CDT (a few minutes before pre-orders were supposed to go live) and my confirmation email that came about 20 minutes later said 14-21 days.

I got a 6+ 64GB Space Gray. I have not seen any posts from anyone who ordered this combination through the AT&T website that have said they are scheduled to deliver on 9/19.

Did anyone with that combination who ordered super early get a 9/19 date and not the 14-21 days (or worse).

I'm still hopeful I will get it on launch day.
 
Well I got screwed over by Bank of America(obviously) and my order was blocked because of unusual activity. Everything is sorted out but it looks like I reordered it again just now and it's shipping between 11/09/2014 To 11/27/2014. There goes that first come, first serve out the window since I originally ordered it 12:12 AM. Thanks Bank of America.

Man why are att's shipping dates slipping so quickly? Apple's are holding relatively steady. Did AT&T just get a really small allocation or something?

Maybe the CSRs are right and they're just trying to manage expectations

That really sucks man your definitely not getting it day one I hate to say. I hate how sensitive credit cards are now days. If it makes you feel any better I ordered it 12 minutes after start an my ship date is 10/31 to 11/11 so yours is only a few days after mine.

I'm a brand new AT&T customer. I used this business premier site so I can get my employee discount.

I ordered at 3:20am EST for iphone 6 plus 16gb silver.

Got an email right away saying "Your Apple iPhone 6 Plus (16GB Silver) has been reserved and will ship within 14 - 21 business days"

The order status website says "Preorder Processing
Expected Ship Date: Pending Confirmation"
 
Estimated delivery for me is 10/31/2014 To 11/11/2014. I'm thinking about heading to Apple night before and wait or head over to walmart.

Tanks for your reply, I'm tired, I stayed up to pre order and feel it worse than waiting to buy in a store... I'm new to preorder as I've bought my iphones in store on the day of, so I have no idea about the process.... ...and you're right I was thinking before that it probably has something to do with my company discount (as I said I don't buy any AT&T stuff online so maybe AT&T could do a better job of explaining this, all it would take is an auto email or text).

So what are my options if this ridiculous time frame doesn't change and I want to try my luck standing in line? Would I have to cancel this online order or could I just leave it "just in case" and cancel if they have my phone in store on the 19th?

Same thing happened to me and a few others who have posted this morning... Mine said the same thing then changed to an estimated ship time frame of 10/31-11/11, the same will probably happen to you. best of luck...
 
6 Plus 16GB Silver

I literally had my order submitted and got the confirmation page in my browser before midnight.

I got an email at 12:11AM confirming pre-order and saying it will ship within 14-21 business days.

When i check my order status it now says 'Expected Ship Date: 10/31/2014 To 11/11/2014'.
 
I placed 2 orders through AT&T Premier. The first order for a 64GB iPhone 6+ in Space Grey (mine) was placed at 11:58pm PT. The second order for a 64GB iPhone 6+ in Gold (my wife's) was placed at 12:03am PT. I received my wifes order confirmation at 12:03am PT, but I did not receive my order confirmation until 6:25am PT. My wife's order shows a shipping date of 10/13/14-10/22/14. Mine, order was placed before hers, shows a shipping date of 10/31/14-11/11/14. If these dates hold true, I will be extremely disappointed in AT&T again. I wanted to order through Apple, but the system would not let me. AT&T claimed it was because my wife and I have different area codes, which I do not buy. What a cluster.
 
Everyone just give it some time....Wait until the orders get through the process time and then the shipping dates may possibly work themselves out. Dont get so caught up on what the shipping estimates are saying right now..You will get the device......
