OP was wrong. The 2014 iPad event took place on 10/16/2014.

Apple Special Event (October 16, 2014)
Apple's “It’s been way too long” media event took place on October 16th, 2014.[40] The company used this event to unveil the iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, and an updated iMac with a 5K Retina Display.
This keynote was streamed live on October 16, 2014.
Prob 15/17/22/24 based off what Apple has done for past October events. The 17 or 24 seems more likely tho.
