Here we go , my second order placed at 7 AM for iPhone 6 16G silver ( new line ) with premier arrived .
My first order for 16G 6+ Grey is still pending ( 1st order was placed at 3:12 AM EST ) and web site was crashing so i was not able to place my second order until 7 AM. note : both order's confirmation emails showed at my inbox at 7 AM

I'm not seeing many others reflecting this sentiment. They positively do not rock.
I've seen him make several comments like that, and never has any info to back it up.
Means only one thing:
You'll be getting your 6+ soon as many canceled their 6+ when they saw both sidebysid
I stood online this morning at an AT&T corporate store, not many 6+'s but enough 6's for all of us online. They had a 6 and 6+ on display in the store (the 6+ gets the award for been in most pockets in the shortest amount of time, she's a hore!
lol). Many of us had pre ordered 6+'s and the manager basically told us to to go look at both phones, whether you wanted to wait for your pre order or get the 6.
It had nothing to do with the wait, I'd say 3 out of 4 opted to get the 6 because it was just the right size and the 6+ just didn't feel/look right (a matter of opinion though).
One older guy made a comment that was hilarious, "oh no, I'm getting my wife the big one so the angry birds aren't blurry." lol
I'd assume many cancelled pre -orders today, pushing up orders...

Its very disappointing that my measly 8% discount caused this problem for me. It wouldn't be so bad if a series of unfortunate events didn't case my iPhone's digitizer to break last night. At least with iOS 8 and yosemite I can make/receive calls and iMessages.

My wife's 6 just arrived via FedEx. He just set in on the step, rang the doorbell and left. No signature or anything. We live in a condo, lots of people around.
Order a 6+ 64GB Silver phone around 12:20 PST on 09/12/14. Order is still showing as preparing to ship with the 10/02 date. Thought i would try my luck at an AT&T store this morning. I was 11th in line. I was able to get a 6+ Silver 16GB. Unfortunately this size wont work for me as I need the 64GB at least. My store had no 128GB Pluses, only 3 64GB Pluses (1 each color) and like 14 of the 16GB ones. Guess I will just sale this phone since paid Full Retail Price. Local to the DFW area.
I ordered an iPhone 6+ 128GB Space Grey through AT&T at 12:00a Pacific and I'm showing 10/2 - 10/13 as estimated shipping date. I swung by 3 Best Buys this morning with hopes that they had a 128GB iPhone 6+ in any color and all 3 told me they received zero iPhone 6+.

Even the apple store must have has less than 30 SG 6+ 64GB if they ran out in < 30 people. I don't think Apple simply produced enough and my theory is that all their stock or majority went to their own pre-orders as it should have been actually.. So here's my revenge towards them:
I bought that 128GB 6+ SG model at full retail 949 and I fully intent to use the **** out of it for the next 14 days at which point I hope to have my 64GB and I will retern the 128 for a full refund to apple and they can deal with selling a used product.
Suck it apple

Yes, I still have a preorder with Apple and AT&T. Waiting to see which comes first. Also have a 6 coming today just in case I decide I really don't want the plus.
Went to the Apple Store after AT&T. They are out of all 6+ as well, though didn't run out till about 8:30. If I would have just gone there first I may have gotten one. There was a guy there who had been there since 3:00 yesterday. Was offering to sell his 6+ for $1600.
First impressions of the 6+ was "oh hell no, I'm not going to carry something like that around!" But after using it for awhile it started to feel more comfortable--damn! Now I may actually wait for it.
Apple guy took my card and told me he would text me if they get more in. Said shipments coming all the time. We will see. Not even sure he was a real apple guy

So, I had a chance to play with the 6 and 6+ at the Apple Store. Though I can see a number of situations where I would really like to have the larger screen, like sitting on the couch, at the beach, in a plane. However, I also see many situations where I want to be able to throw my phone in my shirt pocket, or type one-handed, where a larger phone would be a hindrance. I decided that I'd rather have a phone that feels comfortable in my hand, rather than one I have to get used to. I decided that for every-day use I'd be much happier with the 6. I'm surprised I've actually been able to make peace with the decision. It's probably because the 6 is still awesome! Though I still have one more 6 plus on backorder with Apple scheduled for the 13th. If I really do have buyers remorse as long as I can keep this one as-new I might still be able to switch--but I doubt I will want to at this point.
So, one more 6+ available out there for you guys!

You're saying you couldn't check your order online so you didn't have an estimated ship date?
I had 1 co-worker get the 6 and the other the 6+. The 6+ seems massive (this coming from a prior Note 2 user). It also looks a bit awkward. It's taller and not as wide as the Note 2, but it's the height that makes it look awkward. The 6 is nearly identical size to an S5 which is about the perfect size. I think I may just want the 6. hmmmmm
Even with you giving them a refurb, they are going to clear $400 in clear profit from you. And likely another $300 when they sell the one you returned. And you played right into their hand wasting your time in their line hoping to get something different. Way to teach them a lesson!!
I was surprised at how little buyer's remorse I had. And it's not just because I cannot get the 6+ until October. The 6 really feels comfortable.
