Exactly what I did! Found my 6+/64gb/SG at my local store. Ordered online and breezed through pickup this morning. Thank goodness for the Apple Store. Never ever ordering from AT&T again.
I've only seen the gold shipped from Apple. I think as long as you have the 64/128 and ordered early enough you'll probably get it sooner. The 16gb models are the heavily ordered units.

I'm on the same boat man. Sigh. This is getting sad.
For what it's worth, I checked the Apple stores' availability in Texas and several of them have most iPhone 6 plus in stock today for AT&T buyers. Specifically3 stores in Austin, 3 in Dallas/FortWorth and 2 stores in Houston.
Hang in there guys. You both seem to have ordered around the same time as me and I just got my shipping notification last night. Considering more shipments are rolling in on a regular basis I think you guys should be receiving notifications soon.
Let's hope you are right man. I keep reading of people getting their tracking numbers.
I see Pluses in Apple store but I can't cancel my order on ATT Premier because the order has been delivered to the warehouse and I would have to return the package before they can cancel the order. They haven't shipped my phone yet and expected delivery date is 10/02-10/13. I don't have a tracking number and yet they still can't cancel my order!!!! I asked rep then do I have to until October to return and cancel and she said yes!! This is totally unacceptable!!!
I ordered 64G 6+ SG ATT premier within 2 minutes of launch - shipping date showed 10/2/-10/13 - received text yesterday (saturday) of shipping and will have phone Monday!
Added bonus - I bought a 128+ SG from the apple store as a backup and sold it for 1500. Free + for me boom!

Elizae - why not just go buy the one at the apple store without contract, open it up, set up and activate & use, then when your other phone comes - cancel it, wait a few days - go back to apple, return and re-ring the phone via contract to get the discount?

There is a light at the end of the tunnel. My iPhone 6 Plus (white 64gb) shipped today for Tuesday delivery.
Ordered at 12:10am PST, got confirmation message at 1:17am PST, but was originally put into the November delivery group. Early last week I was changed to the 10/2 delivery group and the "cancel preorder" option was always available.
Glad I waited it out because I was able to keep my unlimited data and only pay around $65 a month. Irritated at AT&T for the way this was handled, but it's really still the best option for me even if I have to wait a bit.

What type of confirmation did you get saying it was shipped? att web site? email? what?
I do. Arriving tomorrow via FedEx. Received shipping info yesterday morning very early. 128 GB 6+
Well with people having shipping dates of 10/2-10/13 getting theirs on Monday im pretty sure the rest of us with the same shipping dates are next.
