Is there a way to stay logged in to the forums on the iPhone iOS 8? I keep getting logged out even though I have remember me checked. Maybe some Safari setting I don't have correct.

I'm always logged in. On the following OS.
iOS 6 (iPad 2)
iOS 8 (iPhone 6 plus)
Mavericks (IMAC)
Safari on all of them leaves me logged in 24/7.

I had the same problem on Chrome on desktop. Try clearing your cache completely. And of course don't forget to check the Remember Me button upon login.
I suspect if the admin changed the default user timeout from say 5 minutes to 5 days they'd see an uptick in forum participation. Can't tell you how many times I didn't upvote or comment because it would have required me to login.
