In Mountain lion To adjust the size of each individual column (to see filenames), u must take the cursor all the way to the little marker "ll" (resize handle in 3rd link) thats @ the very bottom of the border, and drag from there.

Im wondering if theres a setting or tweak like Mountain Tweaks that allows to adjust the size by just dragging any part of the wall/border, from any point, and not havin to go precisely to the "resize handle"/"ll"?

The screen grab you posted in your link is not a Finder window but a TotalFinder window.

i am wondering how to adjust column size at any point on the column walls, rather than just the tiny "ll" marker at the bottom.
