That's interesting. Shrug, I think last night there were flights to Newark later this evening (around 1am). Not sure about today though! I wish you the best of luck!
One thing I gotta say, UPS knows what the hell they're doing as far as sorting these packages. My phone is currently in Windsor Locks, CT and I've never seen something of mine gone there before!!

Sitting on the same thing ... to me they can get it to us tomorrow ... and I'm gonna be pretty unhappy if it carries over into Thurs ... since I am not home all day and even picking it up will be annoying as I have class all day ..

This is an intentional decision on UPS' part to hold this shipment. This iPhone surge is a drop in the ocean compared to Christmas season. Stop acting like our shipments broke WP and customs. Simply not true.
Even if they did, so what? The phone has a scheduled delivery of 9/25. They are under no obligation to send it earlier.
Have no clue, sorry. Just a package handler on both shifts. If it made it to unload on night shift it got sent out. If it was unloaded on days it's possible that it wouldn't make it out and put in "holdover" and resent through unload to be sorted again once night shift started.

Transit means it's not a direct flight. For instance, the one going "straight" to Louisville is stopping in Almaty, Warsaw and Cologne first.
Was 9/25 your original date? If so, I can't really see your justification for being annoyed with UPS.

Been using the Piel Frama since the Palm Treo 600, lately since the iPhone 4, iMagnum version. Too much pocket lint etc to be carrying around an $800 phone in there. Not to mention it might become scratched, break or bend. I've ordered and received a few of the available cases from Amazon etc and have fig'd out a way to cannibalize a few extra outdated ones to get by, combining the two until the 6 and 6 plus becomes available. I couldn't decide between the two so I have the 6 and 6 plus will be here 25th.

Okay, safe to assume if you have Friday, expect Friday with possible early delivery Thursday. But at this rate, getting stuck at each point, expect friday.

you have a 9/24 delivery and you are only just now leaving Shanghai? You will not make the 9/24 delivery as you have to go through US CUSTOMS and that will drag your Delivery to a HALT... unfortunately.
Now that's a good question, as once they get ALL DONE then We are Next!!! (9/25 folks)
Sadly, I cannot be sure we're next. I'm in the 9/25 team too. However, it seems as though there are others that are arriving from Alaska tonight, like we were last night. If they have an earlier delivery date, I can see their import scans showing up before ours. Again, this is NOT confirmed, and I would LOVE to be proven wrong. Just my guess!

That's not necessarily true; some people today got phones that arrived in Louisville very early this morning. There's still a chance it'll be delivered on time.
Just trying to get my phone to cincy, stuck in Louisville since 1:45 am. It hasn't departed yet. I would have expected a mid day truck transport.
That's a good point; if there are packages arriving tonight that have earlier dates than ours they might be setting ours aside to ensure that there's room for those who are coming who need to be delivered tomorrow. Pure, 100% speculation.
