I'm. Still. In. Incheon.
It has been almost 24 hours. This is not okay. I'm not even in the states yet. Who else from #Team520 got denided??
Looks like we have UPS99 again which departs at 10:14PM KST, which is the normal time that yesterday's flight was supposed to leave at..
But who knows if we're going to be on that one.. Jesus take the wheel.
I spent 48 hours in Incheon. Got there 8AM on 9/22 and left on 9/24 at about 9AM.
I have one better. In the time I've been waiting for my iPhone (per-ordered on the 12th), I was able to RMA a monitor, have it delivered to Newegg and am now having the replacement delivered to me today. I originally sent the monitor to Newegg last Monday (15th). The replacement made it from Memphis to Houston in less than 24 hours. Which is shorter than how long my phone has now been sitting in just Louisville.

Same here... UPS just plain bites .... It makes no damn sense phones should be just sitting there in KY just cause it's due 25th. BUNCH OF SORRY A** M*****S. But then again when I saw UPS i already knew it was gonna be a mess.
I bet you have the lower tier shipping, Worldwide Expedited. We second class citizens have our packages sitting in various locations for days without movement. People who have Express Saver shipping generally have their packages out of Louisville on the first available flight.
Funny thing is I didn't see different shipping options when I placed my preorder. I guess apple chooses which orders are entitled to express shipping and which can be delayed by UPS for days. When I brought this to apple's attention, the customer service rep told me, "Be happy that you're getting the phone before 10/1-10/6. It's only a couple more days."
Jesus you people are self-entitled *****. Yes it does makes sense, you know how many packages run thru KY in a day? Mine was in Korea for two days and I'm still on track for 9/25 delivery.

Yeah, I am. There was never an option to even choose any type of shipping. Wonder how many of those that called actually got upgraded to the next tier or if it was all completely random. It kinda sucks to see people whose phones landed then left a few hours later passing mine right up. But hey, I'll get it at some point hopefully soon.
It's not the entitlement I don't think, it's just the frustration of no movement. Us in the 7:10 club were also in ZhengZhou for 3 days. I'm still quite happy to get it tomorrow instead of next week, it's just the disappointment of not seeing it move. You must be an Express saver delivery or you would have probably had to sit in KEntucky for 2 days like the rest of us Expedited self entitled *****.
Finally! I was originally scheduled for 9/23, but it for days said that I would have early delivery of 9/22. Then yesterday I was late getting my import scan so it sat in Louisville for awhile. Now finally has made it to Houston and ready for pick up! Thanks everyone who provided a lot of valuable information here! I learned a LOT about how UPS works.

Dang, I had just taken a sip of Coke when I read that. Oh well, it's my work computer.
Nope, expedited just like you. Mine shipped on the 19th just like most here, I just never left Korea with the others on Monday. It'll get to you on time, just calm down
I think it was completely random. I never called to get upgraded shipping or a free phone case (my luck never works that way) and I still somehow managed to get Saver. Granted, my Saver means I still don't have my phone (it is out for delivery today) but it was supposed to be here Monday until I got Shanghai'd.
See, this guy has a right to complain. UPS didn't meet the deadline they gave him.
Well, I imagine that those of us with 9/25 delivery dates will be seeing our phones start moving closer to home today. Looking forward to moving on!
I am still in Louisville stupid Kentucky since arriving at 1:56am yesterday. I have had a delivery date since the 19th for the 25th. I wasnt expecting an early delivery, would have been nice, but I will just be happy if it actually gets delivered on the 25th, the day I asked to take off of work to be home for the package. Come on UPS, Customs, Santa, Easter Bunny, somebody do something to get the packages moving from Kentucky to their final destinations.
When I went to bed last night after not having an update all day since 1:56am, I just knew that when I woke up my phone would have moved, been imported, something, but nope, nothing. Looks like while I was sleeping so was everyone else going through the phones. I just hope to have my phone on its original delivery date of 9/25 as stated by UPS at this point.
