Same. In Apple store now. Do all their devices usually say no service? Because everything in the store is out. Reps have no clue either.

All display devices will no service because the phones don't have SIMs or valid SIMs.

I was the one who posted about a verizon phone with an ATT sim not working, but as part of my troubleshooting I put the verizon SIM that came with the phone back in and I still get no service (and the service is still active on the verizon account), so it looks like it may be more than just an ATT issue.
Seems to be an iPhone 6 issue. In the main 8.0.1 thread, folks from other countries are reporting the same issue.

Yeah, I just asked. He said they've seen some of this happening but they've apparently been able to restore service by restoring the phone? But he wasn't sure where the problem was originating. Looks like I've got a brick until I get home. Unless I can wipe from phone and restore from cloud.

This is definitely a big issue. If you haven't updated yet, don't!!!!

At&t iPhone 6 here upgraded to 8.0.1 via OTA software update and having no issues with service, touch id etc.

When did you guys update? If it was within the last few minutes I wonder if they've already pushed out a working version.

So Apple just bricked 10 million new phones, this is going to end well.

It is for me! I haven't updated and my 128GB iPhone 6 has got to be worth $10,000 USD in China right now, might buy another BMW if this goes on for long.

Upgraded to 8.0.1. Constantly says "searching"

Same here what do we do? Can we go back to 8.0 somehow?

In before "This would never happen if Steve Jobs were alive"

But in all seriousness, I'm not sure there's anything we can do. Go back to 8.0? Does that work?

This is almost comedy gold...."it just works"...ya...no.

****^ I don't find your sarcasm amusing

The end tester(s) @ Apple that gave the go ahead to release this update needs to be fired
Sad....Steve Job has passed away
