 the cops should make the parents pay and charge the kids and make them do some sort of community service where all they do is bend rigid things to make their thumbs numb.

So where are the people defending apple saying they don't bend as easily because consumer report said so? Two little kids managed to bend several iphones.

If you purposelessly wan't to destroy something, you can, regardless if you are 10 year old or 30. Are smartphones made to be used as weapons or to be used by people (assuming smart people and not dummy's) as a communication device? Why don't you drop your TV on the floor and see if it breaks? Why don't you put your clothes on the fire and see if they burn? Why don't you send a 10 year old relative on BMW or Audi carshow to through a rock on their windows or scratch them with keys or something and see what happens?

These kids may be stupid as ++++ but they are smart enough to realise that Apple won't do it because they don't want negative press. All media around the world will be over it with headlines "Apple prosecuting 10 year old children's"

I knew some idiot will do this and show he's face, wasn't expecting young ones.

Like another post said the most shocking thing is that they don't seem to understand what they did its wrong, thats why a lot of kids grow up to be a pos since they grow up doing this kind of things and never face major consequences about it.

Bad kids usually come from bad parents.

As someone who preordered a 6 Plus early on the 12th and is still waiting for it to ship, can people please STOP DESTROYING PERFECTLY GOOD PHONES.

All you fanboys make me laugh! I'm an apple user and I'm glad the crappy structural build of the iphone 6 plus is getting the attention it deserves...

Gives Apple a reason to make sure that the iphone 7 has the build quality and strength we all pay for!

Software and hardware quality of Apple stuff just sucks at present! Hope you all have applecare+ ;)

You don't know that to be true. Apple may just as reasonably conclude that such publicity would be good in that it would stop others from doing the same thing.

Ironic that you call people fanboys and then proceed to parrot some nonsense about iPhones having "crappy structural build" when in point of fact you know nothing of the sort to be true.

Why on earth would you do something like this and then show your true identities in the same video? How incredibly stupid are these kids?

So this is now happening... Think we might be seeing additional security in Apple Stores in the near future.

These punks need to learn a lesson. If you watch toward the end, they say "we'd be happy to go back to the Apple Store and repeat this with a better camera"

Sure... did you just say you want to repeat this?? :D

OK, one of the kids identities can be easily found online:

Toby Cudworth
15 years old
Living in Norwich, England

If anyone living in the UK, please report this to police/Apple.

Just three days ago this forums were celebrating the consumers report video how the new iphone deosnt bent, yet 3 days later two little kids go and easily bend the iphone. This is hilarious

Its been said many times but it appear people are so thick to understand. It bends but not on a normal day usage. Normal day usage does not involve purposelessly using force (until the body vain's almost burst) to deform it.

one of the first things they say
If we got caught we'd end up paying for it

next step post to youtube video evidence of crime :mad:

Bottom of the class no doubt :p and now its monday they will be called into the headmasters office by end of the day.

Parents will be so proud :(

What's hilarious is how often people here use straw man arguments, presumably without even knowing it.

No one has EVER argued that this or ANY phone "won't bend." That's a straw man (look it up.)

Says you and apple!

Great rebuttal.

So, where's the evidence of all the phones bent under normal use? We'll wait...

Why bother? Our legal system is a joke! Nothing will happen to them at best they will be made to pay for the phone and get told off! Anyway Apple would have to file a complaint.

So any punk kid can just walk into any store, cause a ******** of material damage and vandalism, and walk away as a YouTube hero? I call this a complete zero!! Where has all the British mannerism gone? ;-)

This is criminal damage and I hope the police identify them and they are charged and forced to pay for the damage they have caused. This is absolutely outrageous and I can't believe they think they have the right to walk into a shop and damage a product that they have no intention of buying! Its amazing how messed up this world can be.

Its not. What I think he means is the punishment doesn't fit the crime anymore due to human rights and European Laws. More respect is given to the person committing the crime than to the victim.

These punk a** kids have no morals. I hope they learn their lesson.
