I like of like them. Just one solid slate is dull, the lines add some kind if accent. There are really much bigger issues in life.

To explain my take on the lines....

You just gotta catch it from the right angles because what I notice happens when you use it in your day to day is that you see it from various angles.

When you look at the geometry that is created by the lines and roundness, and you look at it from those various lighting/angles, it looks totally different than it did straight up in photos.

Those outer lines around the edges are usually only partially highlighted in real life compared to the whole scope of the piece in a traditional fully lit marketing photo. The lines reflect light differently compared to the aloominiium. The outer lines handsomely designate the rounded top and bottom sectors while the two main lines go across the body for traditional symmetry.

So the ones around the top and bottom rounded areas are usually from most angles just complimenting the parallel nature of the main lines in an satisfyingly proportionate way because the shadows waterfall off the side exactly where those highlights occur.

Basically you don't notice those lines on the rounded portions in real life the same way you do in photos.

Probably this design would not work if the edges weren't rounded how they are. There is a lot of geometrical congruency going on with all those elements together as one.

Dude, where is the option "I don't mid" or "Not bothered"?
There are people who aren't bothered with lines, it doesn't mean that they think it looks bad or good!

I can notice those lines on the rounded part because i have a gold color.

That's what the material of these bands reminds me.

Shoulda went with silver?

No. My 5 was silver, 5s was space grey. Time to change. But im a bit regretting about my gold iphone 6 because i thought the gold would be like champagne gold in 5s. I was wrong, the gold iphone 6 feels a lot bolder and i think i should have bought the space grey instead.

I really don't like this thick antenna bands, apple could made them thinner and with another material like glass or porcelain or another thing, it's plastic so that means that the iPhone 6 in one month of use will accumulate dirty on the bands it will look horrible....I'm not buying this iPhone and that's non then only reason............protruding cam and low battery 1800 are not enough, they should put a 2600mah battery on it, they could make it a little thicker just to cover the cam and so there would be enough place for a better battery.

Protruding is not something i notice on daily use. I know it sucks, but the thinnest is so awesome to hold and helps you use the phone one handed.

1800 mah maybe is small, but charging the iphone 6 is fast. Can go 20% to 100% in a hour.

Sorry but that's not what i have wished to see after waiting 2 years. I'm very disappointed and I'm personally not gona buy this iPhone. If they will put bigger battery capacity, cam design like previous iPhone I will get a new iPhone, for now I keep using my beautiful black iPhone 5.

Well. Good luck holding on your 5s for two years because the 6s would be the same i think.

I dislike them.
Pretty much any case will hide them quickly though, so it shouldn't bother too much.

Are The Thick Antenna Bands Still Horrible?

Ok but hey not everybody use s cover, like me....I prefer to feel the iPhone when I use it so I would like to have although a pleasure for my eyes, and that's not the case, with iPhone 6.
Is this design ????

You're not giving the symmetry a chance to do its thing from that rendering.

As for the guy who got gold you shouldn't have assumed that because the 5S looked good in Gold that the 6 automatically would. Every year you gotta see them and re-evaluate. It doesn't matter what you had before. It's a new design with new choices to be made.

Yea you're right, the champagne colour of 5s is very elegant and nice the gold colour of the six is different and more Cinese style.....I don't like it at all..

I put my space Grey 6 plus in a beautiful thing case with a clear bad so I can see the back of these phone. I must say the back of my phone looks beautiful. Those lines give it character in a way lol. idk why people are complaining about thick bands, what do they want, uglier thin bands?
