I could go on (and on and on and on), but I think it's safe to say that keeping your phone in your pocket is positively acknowledged to be a decent way to break the damned thing - no matter what phone it is. The iPhone is - obviously - no exception; except that apparently it might bend slightly instead of cracking the screen.

I'm sure more phone displays have been cracked from simply dropping them. Had they been in a pocket while walking, there would be even less cracked displays.

All this talk is kinda pointless, phones break get over it. I myself would never dream of putting an iPhone 6/6P in my pocket and anyone who does is just asking for trouble. For bigger phones pockets are not a good idea, for an iPhone 4 I would say a pocket is more safe.

This is a good post.

HOWEVER.

You know what's different between Apple and a lot of those companies? Expectations. I expect and want Apple to do better. And to me, phones bending in pockets is not acceptable.

And before anyone accuses me of wanting a replacement or whatever, I don't even have a 6+ and my 6 is flawless and I doubt it will bend. I just feel really sorry for the people that this is happening to.
