Lets get some actual numbers regarding the different iPhone 6 capacities.

I'm one of the people who debated 64gb vs 128gb for awhile. I ended up grabbing the 64gb. After the OS and my 32gb of music I've got 20gb left. I've yet to take any pictures, add any movies or take video, or download any apps and whatever else. I know 20gb free is a lot, but really how much is it? Considering over at least the next two years I'll be using this phone to take videos, pics etc. I don't consider myself a power user, but maybe above average. I just want to make sure I get my money's worth in the long rung.

So, roughly how many videos/pics etc. are we talking about that I'll be able to store on this thing with my 20gb free after music?

I buy and rent HD movies off the iTunes store and each clocks in to around 4-5GB, for some perspective. TV shows clock in around 1GB. Those will always be the biggest hitters in terms of data consumption.

Gotcha. I was considering having a movie or two on here and maybe a few tv shows. I'm assuming pictures taken taken with the iphone will number in the thousands with 20gb?

Whoa! How long are those videos? And were they all shot on the 6?

I'm pretty sure I'll be taking it back for a 128gb, but this convo might help some others.

My wife has almost 11000 pictures on her phone and a few (but not many) videos and they take up about 27G. These are pretty much every picture she's every taken with her iPhone going back to her first iPhone 3, so some of them are a lot smaller than the 8 megapixel pictures the 6+ will take, but it might still help give you some idea.
