Hello
Due to a seeming inability to format numbered lists (in "Pages") to the precise, peculiar way of my university, I have been forced to return to the dark side and use that horrible mass of poorly-designed UI which is otherwise known as Word 2011 for Mac (oh, I thought this was bad, I looked at the Windows 2013 version ...).
Now, for reasons best known to my esteemed institution, they require lists to be numbered without a trailing period. So it is
1
1.1
1.1.1
rather than the default
1.
1.1.
1.1.1.
As much as I have Googled and fiddled with the settings and styles I cannot see an obvious way to change this in the settings. It must exist, people vaguely refer to it online.
I've looked in the modify styles, create styles and probably everything bar the kitchen sink.
Could someone kindly give a pointer as to the really obvious place I am failing to look at ?
Thank you in advance!
