Hi, I wanted to re-install the newly released yosemite beta and when I went to partition my hard drive it is giving me this error (attached image below), I've installed yosemite / partitioned my hard drive a lot of times before, never ran into this problem. This is my first mac so I'm not sure as to what happened and why its giving me this error. Thank you for all your help in advance

anyone at all?

A Yosemite install on a second partition converts the partition to a core storage volume and causes the issue you are seeing.

Enter the command below in Terminal and it will turn off the core storage and allow you to manipulate the partitions normally.

Code:
diskutil cs revert disk1
