Hi

I've got an iPad mini about 1.5 years old, that has started to suffer from screen problems. When holding the device horizontally, I estimate that the top 5% of the screen is not responding i.e. the browser address bar in Safari.

I can sometimes get this portion of the screen working again, after pressing hard around the edges of the iPad (near the bezel.) However its far from an ideal solution, and doesn't work for long.

Has anyone experienced this? Do you reckon, I could fix it myself, or do I have to send it back to Apple?

Thanks

You probably need a new digitizer. Check out Gadget Menders. They sell replacement parts and have how to videos if you want to try doing it yourself.
